Berry Plastics rapidly implements JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 using (OBA) Oracle Business Accelerators. The Challenge: Berry Plastics is a global leader in the plastics manufacturing industry with facilities worldwide. Berry desired to modernize it's Seals for Life subsidiary in Belgium, and move them off of their disparate legacy solution and onto JD Edwards in a 6-months timeframe. They also desired to automate monthly reporting and compilation, as well as individual plant figures, to meet data quality requirements. The Services: JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 - Oracle Accelerate Implementation Services The Vision: Berry looked to transform its IT platform to integrate systems and business processes—from sales to production planning—across the various countries in which it operates. Provide senior management with real-time operational reports based on sales order, inventory, procurement, and manufacturing management data, increasing transparency into regional sales and the products that will help maximize revenues. The Solution: Perform Business Transformation at the Seals for Life headquarters and two warehouses in Belgium which took six months to complete using Oracle Business Accelerators, going live, on time and on budget. Seals for Life worked with the team to implement and deploy the Financial, Distribution and Manufacturing modules of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1.
