The Challenge:
The New York Post was founded in 1801 and publishes the oldest continually published daily newspaper in America. Established by federalist and Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, it became a respected broadsheet in the 19th century, under the name New York Evening Post. The modern version of the paper is published in tabloid format. 

The New York Post wanted to streamline operations, enhance financial performance, and  improve overall visibility across the enterprise.

Used JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financials to automate financial management activities, providing daily financial drill-down reports, while reducing the headcount needed to generate the reports..

Optimized the accounts receivable flow by restructuring the integration of contracts with orders subscriptions.

Leveraged new system features to improve management of active customers and daily orders.

Centralized and optimized purchasing department functions by tracking and providing timely information on stock receipts, inventory, and purchasing, resulting in a significant cost saving.
